What Smartbull is and how to start trading in 5 minutes.
What is Smartbull?
Smartbull is an institution-grade algorithmic trading platform that runs a walk-forward validated, multi-strategy portfolio engine — the same kind quant funds use — directly on your own exchange account.
We are non-custodial: you keep your funds on your exchange. We only need API keys with trade permission. Withdrawals are disabled by default.
The product has three core surfaces: - /engine — backtest engine (research + walk-forward) - /lab — live meta-portfolio (Phase 37 Sharpe-weighted allocator) - /portfolio — your live (or paper) trading account
How to start (5 steps)
- Connect a wallet (top-right "Connect wallet"). We use SIWE (Sign-In With Ethereum) — no email, no password.
- Start a 7-day Pro trial or pick a paid tier (Starter $99 / Pro $249 / Alpha $599 / Institutional $1,999 per month).
- Link an exchange on /account → Vault. We support 7 exchanges. Keys are encrypted at rest.
- Pick a portfolio on /lab — by default the live Phase 37 meta-portfolio. Or build a custom one with AI Builder (Pro tools → AI Builder).
- Enable paper trading first to watch it for a few days, then flip to real.
Wallet auth (SIWE) — why?
Wallet auth means no email database to breach, no password to phish, and no KYC for the platform itself (exchange KYC still applies on your exchange).
You sign a one-time message to prove ownership. That signature creates a session — nothing is broadcast on-chain, no gas fee.
