Social Trading

The Social Trading page is fully public — no login required to browse. It bundles:

• Fear & Greed gauge — semicircle SVG with 5 component bars (volatility, momentum, social, dominance, trend)
• AI verdict — refreshed every 30 minutes by an LLM digesting the gauge + heatmap. One-paragraph plain-English read of the room
• Symbol heatmap — top-20 assets coloured by 24h move on an oklch scale
• Feed — compose / like / comment / follow. Posts may include a strategy reference but never naked USD amounts
• Top-10 leaderboard — ranked by 0.5·sharpe + 0.025·realised% from the last 30 days of closed orders

Cron social-trader-leaderboard-hourly aggregates closed bot_orders into a daily cache. Self-following is blocked.

Smartbull's social policy is ratios only, never USD. Win-rate, Sharpe, realised % return, follower count — all visible. Account size, position notional, dollar PnL — never written to the cache, never shown in the feed.

This protects users from doxxing and from copy-trading-driven account size manipulation.

Use the Social Trading page as a second opinion, not the primary signal:

• Check the AI verdict + Fear & Greed before sizing up
• Scan the heatmap for outliers (one green block in a sea of red = potential idiosyncratic event)
• Follow 3-5 traders whose Sharpe + ratio aligns with your risk level
• Never copy-trade blindly — even verified leaders draw down
